Product Description

The collimated LED light sources provided by LBTEK include Collimated LEDs, Small Divergence Angle Collimated LEDs, and High Power Collimated LEDs. The LED incorporates collimating optics, enabling the output beam divergence of the collimated LED to be less than 10°, with the Small Divergence Angle Collimated LED achieving less than 3°. The collimated LED light source features an internal heat dissipation structure, minimizing the risk of overheating damage while eliminating power fluctuations caused by temperature changes, ensuring stable output power. It can be used in applications such as microscope illumination, fluorescence excitation, brightfield illumination, projection systems, and photocatalysis. The collimated LED light source requires a controller for operation, supporting continuous light output or millisecond-level pulsed output with continuously adjustable intensity. There are three methods of use: ① Adjust the output power directly via the knob on the controller; ② Support external trigger mode, with an external SMA connector for TTL external modulation; ③ Connect via Mini USB for software control. LBTEK also offers transmission illumination port adapters compatible with Olympus BX and IX microscopes, Zeiss Axioskop and Examiner microscopes, Nikon Eclipse (Ti, Ti2, or upright) microscopes, and Leica DMI microscopes, available for selection as needed.

LBTEK's Collimated LED provides 29 wavelength range: options within 255 nm-1300 nm, including two color temperature collimated white light LEDs at 4000K and 6500K, meeting the needs of different wavelengths from ultraviolet to near-infrared. It contains collimating Optical Components, enabling the output beam divergence of the collimated LED to be less than 10°, with white light divergence angle <7°. The light exit has an SM1 internal thread, which can be connected to other standard SM1 threaded devices. When used with the controller LBLED-CT4V/LBLED-CT6V, the light intensity can be adjusted directly through the knob on the controller, and external trigger and Software control are also supported.

Note: Light Sources controller needs to be purchased separately.

Small divergence angle collimated monochromatic LED

Small-divergence collimated LEDs consist of collimating optics, a diffuser sleeve, and other mechanical components. This design enables an output beam divergence angle of less than 3° with minimal thermal damage, making it suitable for applications such as microscopy illumination sources and multi-color fluorophore excitation sources. The small-divergence collimated LED light source requires a 4V, 700mA (adjustable current) constant current source for driving. This collimated LED light source can be connected to other components via an SM1 internal thread or fixed and supported using M3 mounting holes on the heatsink end.

Note: The light source controller must be purchased separately.

LBTEK high-power LEDs are divided into two categories: the white light illumination series and the monochromatic light source series, both consisting of collimated optical components, copper-based heat sinks, silent fans, and precision mechanical housings. This integrated design ensures excellent power stability and resistance to thermal damage. The white light illumination series features a beam divergence angle of <7°, while the monochromatic light source series has a divergence angle of <10°. The white light illumination series offers four standard color temperature options: 4000K, 5000K, 5700K, and 6500K. When used with the LBLED-CT7V controller, continuous intensity adjustment is possible via the front panel knob, along with external trigger and software control functions. The monochromatic light source series covers ultraviolet to red light wavelengths (365 nm, 405 nm, 450 nm, 520 nm, 625 nm), with maximum output power ranging from 0.9W to 7W, making it suitable for applications such as fluorescence excitation and spectral analysis. This series requires the use of a 5A/5V or 6A/5V controller.

Note: The light source controller is sold separately. The mechanical housing is equipped with 4×M4 threaded holes on the side and 4×M3 threaded holes on the front; the light output port features an SM1 internal thread standard interface, compatible with all SM1 standard threaded optical components.

LBTEK's light source controllers have five models: LBLED-CT4V, LBLED-CT6V, LBLED-CT7V, LBLED-5V5A, and LBLED-5V6A. Among them, LBLED-CT4V is used with collimated monochromatic LEDs, collimated white LEDs, and non-collimated monochromatic LEDs; LBLED-CT6V is used with deep UV LED light sources; LBLED-CT7V is used with high-power white LEDs; LBLED-5V5A and LBLED-5V6A are used with high-power monochromatic LEDs. The light emission can be controlled directly by the knob on the controller, or via software, and the controller supports external trigger mode. For specific usage, refer to the controller manual.

Note: When the current of collimated monochromatic LEDs LBLED-0365, LBSLED-0365, and LBULED-0365 is 80%, the maximum power can be reached.
