Stainless steel optical mounts with piezoelectric adjusters provide long-term alignment stability. These piezo-driven adjusters feature a self-locking function when power is off, making them ideal for applications requiring long-term stability. These mounts offer a wide angular adjustment range of ±4°, with typical step sizes of 10-30 nm. Through the accompanying piezoelectric Motion Controller and Software, the single-step size can be flexibly adjusted within ±20% of the approximately 10 nm reference value. The piezo actuators come with knobs for manual adjustment. These piezoelectric mirror mounts include a controller. The piezoelectric screw actuator set consisting of 2 PTP09 piezoelectric screws and 1 controller is sold separately by our company.

Compared with non-MT stainless steel series mounts, MT stainless steel mounts integrate matched piezo-driven adjusters and body design, providing better durability and thermal performance. The combination of flexure springs and set screws secures Optical Components without being affected by temperature, unlike nylon-tip screws which are more sensitive to temperature fluctuations. The minimum thickness of Optical Components is 2 mm. The set screws for adjusting the flexure springs are operated with a hex wrench; Ø1-inch and Ø2-inch mounts are adjusted with a 2 mm hex wrench. We strongly recommend using a torque wrench to secure Optical Components to prevent surface deformation and improve thermal stability.
The optical mounts have M4 counterbore mounting holes on the side. Two M4 low-head hex socket screws and one 2.0 mm and one 2.5 mm hex wrench are included with the purchase.
