At an angle of incidence (AOI) of 45°, LBTEK polarization-maintaining mirrors effectively preserve the polarization state of linearly, elliptically, and circularly polarized light, while simultaneously achieving high reflectivity (Rabs > 99%). These mirrors are ideal for reflective optical systems requiring precise control over polarization and phase, making them a perfect choice for free-space optical devices in quantum precision measurements, quantum computing, and quantum communication key distribution—applications demanding strict polarization stability and beam fidelity. The LBTEK polarization-maintaining mirrors are based on ultraviolet fused silica substrates, offering 10 selectable operating wavelengths within the 420–1064 nm range and three available sizes (Ø12.7 mm, Ø25.4 mm, Ø50.8 mm).
