LBTEK Fiber Polarization Beam Splitter/Combiner can be used to achieve precise separation and coupling of orthogonal polarized light. The products are mainly prism-type, featuring high splitting accuracy and excellent extinction ratio. The device adopts a high-precision packaging process to ensure accurate alignment between the optical fiber and the optical structure, guaranteeing stable and reliable overall performance. As a bidirectional passive optical device, its core functions can be realized in both directions: when used as a beam splitter, a single input light containing orthogonal linearly polarized light can be precisely split into two fiber output ends. The polarization directions of the two output beams are perpendicular to each other, both aligned with the slow axis of the fiber for output. When used as a combiner, two orthogonal polarized beams input from polarization-maintaining fiber branches can be efficiently coupled into a single polarization-maintaining single-mode output fiber, achieving pump power doubling or combined signal transmission. This product is widely used in fiber lasers, fiber amplifiers, coherent communications, fiber optic gyroscopes, and other fields. It is compatible with various common wavelength bands ranging from 635 nm to 1550 nm. LBTEK fiber splitter/combiner is manufactured using Panda-type Polarization-Maintaining Fiber (PM Fiber), with the common end being Polarization-Maintaining Fiber, which ensures the polarization state at input. It is suitable for splitting the polarization of input light into two optical fibers in various Polarization-Maintaining Optical Systems, and can also be used in reverse for optical power amplification. LBTEK Polarization Beam Splitter/Combiner features high Return Loss and working stability. Each LBTEK Polarization-Maintaining Coupler is rigorously tested before leaving the factory, and comes with a test data sheet for customer review.
