The Triplet Lens Fiber Collimator features an air-spaced triplet lens, providing superior beam quality compared to aspheric lens collimators. The advantages of the low-aberration triplet lens design include an M² factor closer to 1 (Gaussian beam), a smaller divergence angle, and lower wavefront error. LBTEK Triplet Lens Fiber Collimators are available with FC/PC and FC/APC fiber connector types, designed for use with Single-Mode Fiber Patch Cables, and offer two wavelength options: 780 nm and 1550 nm. Additionally, the triplet lens collimator uses a high-precision 2.2 mm keyed connector with a tight-tolerance ceramic ferrule, providing excellent pointing repeatability and making it easy for users to remove and replace the optical fiber. LBTEK also provides various custom solutions, including custom special dimensions, Design Wavelength, Output Spot Diameter, and other specifications. The triplet lens fiber collimator provided by LBTEK has no moving parts, features a compact form factor, and is unaffected by misalignment, simplifying free-space-to-fiber coupling. The triplet lens fiber collimator with FC/PC connector or FC/PC connector has an effective focal length (EFL) of approximately 6 mm, 12 mm, 18 mm, or 25 mm, and is coated with an antireflection coating (AR coating) to reduce reflectance.
