This product series covers two major categories: ASE broadband light sources and SLD broadband light sources, providing a complete broadband light source solution for optical fiber testing, optical imaging, and optical fiber sensing applications. The ASE broadband light source is based on the spontaneous emission mechanism of rare-earth-doped optical fibers, offering three wavelength specifications: 1528–1569 nm, 1567–1603 nm, and 1528–1603 nm, with excellent spectral flatness and non-polarized output. The SLD broadband light source uses superluminescent semiconductor emitting chips, offering two wavelength specifications: 1260–1360 nm and 1500–1600 nm, outputting low-coherence broadband spectra with high output optical power spectral density. The two types of light sources complement each other. The ASE broadband light source can be widely used in fields such as optical fiber device performance testing, fiber Bragg grating (FBG) characterization, and EDFA amplifier performance characterization. The SLD broadband light source can be widely applied in fields such as OCT optical coherence tomography and optical fiber sensing. Custom requirements for parameters such as wavelength and power are supported.
Amplified Spontaneous Emission Source (ASE Source)
  • Spectral coverage C / L / C+L bands
  • Power stability: < ±1.2% @8h
  • Spectral flatness ≤ 3 dB
  • Completely unpolarized polarization state of light

ASE Broadband Light Source is based on the amplified spontaneous emission (ASE) mechanism of rare-earth-doped optical fiber, outputting broad-spectrum stable optical signals. This series offers three wavelength specifications: C-band (1528~1569 nm), L-band (1567~1603 nm), and C+L-band (1528~1603 nm). The products feature excellent spectral flatness (≤ 3 dB) and power stability (≤ ±1.2% / 8 h), support continuous power adjustment from 10% to 100%, and can be widely applied in fields such as OCT imaging, optical fiber component performance testing, fiber Bragg grating (FBG) characteristic detection, and EDFA amplifier performance characterization, with support for customization of parameters including wavelength and power.

SLD Broadband Light Source
  • 1310 / 1550 nm dual wavelength selectable, spectral width up to 100 nm
  • Low-coherence output, effectively suppresses interference noise.
  • Spectral ripple <0.2dB

The SLD Broadband Light Source uses Superluminescent Diode (SLD) (Superluminescent Light Emitting Diode) chips, outputting a low-coherence broadband spectrum while also having a high output optical power spectral density. This series provides two center wavelength specifications: 1310 nm (1260~1360 nm) and 1550 nm (1500~1600 nm), with the output optical power continuously adjustable from 10% to 100%. The products are compact and highly reliable, and can be widely applied in fields such as OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) imaging, optical fiber sensing, and optical fiber device testing, while also supporting customization of parameters such as wavelength, power, and packaging form.
