LBTEK Quartz Optical-Contacted True Zero-Order Half-Waveplate is formed by bonding a single ultra-thin quartz crystal true zero-order waveplate to a 2 mm thick H-K9L Optical Glass substrate through an optical contact (optical contacting) process. The quartz crystal true zero-order waveplate has a thickness on the micrometer scale and low mechanical strength itself. By bonding it to the H-K9L substrate through an optical contact process, the overall mechanical strength of the assembly is significantly improved while maintaining the excellent optical performance of the true zero-order waveplate, making it easy to mount and use. LBTEK Quartz Optical-Contacted True Zero-Order Half-Waveplate is commonly used to rotate the polarization direction of linearly polarized light without changing the intensity of the linearly polarized light.
