LBTEK crystalline quartz Air-spaced Zero-Order Quarter-Wave Plate (λ/4) is composed of two crystalline quartz waveplates with a spacer sandwiched between them. The fast Axis directions of the two crystalline quartz waveplates are perpendicular to each other, and their phase delay difference is π/2. It is commonly used to convert linearly polarized light into circularly polarized light. Compared with cemented crystalline quartz Zero-Order Waveplates, in the Air-spaced Zero-Order Waveplate, the two crystalline quartz waveplates are separated by a spacer to form an Air-spaced gap; this structure is suitable for higher-power Laser applications. The crystalline quartz Air-spaced Zero-Order Quarter-Wave Plate (λ/4) kit consists of 10 waveplates with the same Design Wavelength and Ø12.7 mm. The side of the waveplate has a D-shaped cut edge, which can be used to indicate the fast Axis direction of the waveplate.
