LBTEK nanoparticle film linear polarizers are meticulously crafted using soda-lime glass substrates combined with a precision silver nanoparticle embedding process. By precisely controlling the ellipticity and arrangement of nanoparticles, high-precision modulation of the operating wavelength and polarization performance can be achieved. Compared with traditional polymer polarizers, this product offers several outstanding advantages, including a higher extinction ratio, higher damage threshold, wider operating temperature range, and excellent environmental adaptability, making it suitable for various complex optical scenarios. Currently, LBTEK provides seven series and two sizes of nanoparticle film linear polarizers, with operating wavelengths covering multiple bands within the range of 365 nm to 5000 nm. The standard sizes are Ø12.5 mm and Ø25.0 mm (available in unmounted and mounted versions). LBTEK nanoparticle film linear polarizers (unmounted version) are available in two standard sizes: Ø12.5 mm and Ø25.0 mm, with an operating wavelength range covering 365 nm–5000 nm, suitable for various optical application scenarios. Different series have different structures and performance: the NIR and MIR series have no window glass protection, thickness ≤0.25 mm, overall thin and light, and due to size limitations, the polarization transmission axis direction cannot be marked on the side. They require careful handling, and the polarization direction can be verified using a polarizer during use; the UV380, VIS500, VIS600, VISIR, and IR1300 series are equipped with Schott B270 glass protective layers on both sides, with side dots marking the polarization transmission axis direction, requiring no additional calibration. Compared with the glassless version, their operating temperature and laser damage threshold are slightly reduced. Among them, the VIS600, VISIR, and IR1300 series offer an anti-reflection coating (-AR) version, which can effectively improve optical transmittance. All series are sensitive to stress, and it is recommended to use a stress-free snap ring during installation. Alternatively, the mounted version can be directly purchased.

The LBTEK nanoparticle film linear polarizer (with mounting) is available in two standard sizes: Ø12.5 mm and Ø25.0 mm, which are mounted in SM05-8A and SM1-8A standard lens tubes respectively (the mechanical housing is non-removable), making it suitable for various optical application scenarios. The nanoparticle film linear polarizer covers a working wavelength range of 365 nm–5000 nm, including seven series. Different series differ in structure and performance: the NIR and MIR series have no protective window glass and are overall thin and lightweight (thickness ≤ 0.25 mm); the UV380, VIS500, VIS600, VISIR, and IR1300 series are equipped with Schott B270 glass protective layers on both sides, resulting in a slightly reduced operating temperature and laser damage threshold compared to the glass-free versions. Among them, the VIS600, VISIR, and IR1300 series offer anti-reflection (-AR) coating versions, which effectively improve optical transmittance. Considering that the nanoparticle film linear polarizer is thin and sensitive to stress, all mounted nanoparticle film linear polarizers use stress-free retaining rings. Parameters such as product model, operating wavelength, and transmission axis direction are engraved on the housing surface for quick user identification and use.
