  • Worm gear transmission mechanism with high precision and high transmission efficiency;
  • Five-phase stepping motor drive with high resolution;
  • 360° continuous rotation;
  • Compatible with controllers for motorized translation stages;
The motorized rotary translation stage from LBTEK provides precise rotary translation adjustment for large optical components and optomechanics assemblies. Driven by a stepping motor via worm gear transmission, it achieves continuous 360° rotation on deep groove ball bearing slides. The rotary stage surface features M3, M4, M6 tapped hole arrays for mounting same-thread components or integrating optical systems. Equipped with a reliable five-phase stepping motor reaching 36°/s maximum speed, its controller enables manual adjustment via a rear knob during power loss.

Motorized Rotary Translation Stage
  • Stage size: Ø40 mm, Ø59 mm, or Ø100 mm;
  • Rrotary stage' s circumferential scale has 2°, resolution of 0.001° subdivision or 0.0018° subdivision;
  • 360° continuous rotation;
  • Rotating platform features a standard M6 tapped hole array;
  • Center has one SM05, SM1, or SM2 tapped through-hole;

The motorized rotary translation stage from LBTEK provides 360° continuous rotation motion, with a circumferential scale of 2° and a resolution up to 0.001° or 0.0018° subdivision. Precise rotational motion control is achieved by a stepping motor driving a worm gear mechanism that actuates the slide stage, which operates on deep groove ball bearing slides. The base features three or four M6 countersunk holes for installation onto optical tables or custom-built stage models using included three or four M6 socket head cap screws. The EM-RP40 platform surface has a set of M6 tapped holes evenly distributed on a Ø25 mm reference diameter circle with an SM05 tapped through-hole at the center. The EM-RP60 translation stage includes a set of 22 mm-spaced M4 tapped holes, a set of 30 mm-spaced M3 tapped holes, and a set of Ø50 mm reference diameter M6 tapped holes, with an SM1 tapped through-hole at the center. The EM-RP100 stage features a set of M6 tapped holes evenly distributed on a Ø75 mm reference diameter circle with an SM2 through-hole at the center. Users can install optical components or assemble optical systems using mechanical parts with the same thread specifications. The motorized rotary translation stage requires a motorized stage controller. LBTEK offers the EM-CV5-x series controllers for selection. Note: The corresponding motorized rotary translation stages do not include optical component retaining rings.

Five-phase stepper motor stage controller
  • Control 5-phase stepper motor stage
  • 1-axis, 2-axis, and 3-axis controllers
  • Supports joystick control
  • Complete control program and secondary development kit
  • Added automatic stage recognition function

The five-phase stepper motor stage controller provided by LBTEK is used to control stages equipped with five-phase stepper motors. The controller is available in 1-axis, 2-axis, and 3-axis configurations, allowing users to select the appropriate controller based on their system's motion axis requirements. The HDB15 interface on the rear of the controller is used to connect to the stage and supports automatic stage recognition. Each axis features a set of SMA interfaces for input/output signal connections, while the USB Type-B interface enables driver-free computer connectivity. The controller software provided by LBTEK not only offers multiple motion control modes to meet general motion control needs but also incorporates high-precision position compensation functionality. It supports secondary development in multiple programming languages including C/C++, LabVIEW, C#, Python, and Linux.

Joystick Controller
  • High-reliability joystick compliant with USB HID protocol
  • Joystick controller supports 3-axis control
  • Speed adjustment knob for switching between different operating speeds
  • High-precision movement
  • Emergency stop and zero-return functions
  • Ergonomic design adopted

The EMJC3 joystick controller provided by LBTEK needs to be used in conjunction with our EM-CS series stepper motor stage controllers. It is primarily designed to control the XYZ three axes, with the X-axis defaulting to left-right control, the Y-axis to up-down control, and the Z-axis to clockwise or counterclockwise rotation control. It integrates speed adjustment, stop, and homing functions, supporting emergency stop to return to the zero position. After the EM-CS series stage controller automatically recognizes the default parameters of the stage, the joystick can be plugged in and used immediately without any PC connection or setup, making it convenient and efficient. A 1.5-meter-long USB 3.1 standard Type-A to Type-C data cable is included with the shipment for connecting the joystick controller to the stage controller. When the stage controller is connected to a PC for operation, the controller software has the function to disable simultaneous joystick operation to prevent confusion caused by multi-point control, ensuring safety and reliability.
