Product Description
  • Precise Motorized Vertical Translation Stage
  • ±0.5 µm positioning repeatability
  • Ball screw drive mechanism with high precision and transmission efficiency
  • Operated by the controller
  • Five-phase stepper motor drive
LBTEK's Motorized Vertical Translation Stage is driven by a stepper motor and ball screw transmission mechanism, achieving high-precision reciprocating linear motion in the vertical direction on crossed roller guides. With a 20 mm travel range, it is ideal for vertical movement. Each stage utilizes a stable and reliable five-phase stepper motor, with a maximum speed of 5 mm/s. The controller features a manual adjustment function via the knob at the rear of the motor when there is no power.

Motorized Vertical Translation Stages
  • Table size: 90 mm × 90 mm
  • Stroke: 20 mm
  • Resolution: 0.5 μm / subdivision
  • M6 mounting holes

The LBTEK Motorized Vertical Translation Stage is a linear translation stage driven by a five-phase stepper motor. This stage provides precise and stable height adjustment throughout its entire travel range. The stage motor can move loads up to 5.0 kg on a 90 mm × 90 mm mounting platform with minimal pitch deviation and high repeatability. The stage surface features 25 M6 threaded holes for mounting optomechanical components, while the bottom has four M6 countersunk holes for installation onto breadboards, optical tables, or other translation stages using M6 screws. The translation stage requires an motorized translation stage controller for operation, and LBTEK offers the EM-CV5-x series controllers for user selection.

Five-Phase Stepper Motor Stage Controller
  • Controls 5-phase stepper motor positioning stages
  • 1-axis, 2-axis, and 3-axis controller models
  • Supports joystick control
  • Complete control programs and secondary development kit
  • Adds automatic positioning stage recognition function

The five-phase stepper motor stage controller provided by LBTEK is used to control stages that use five-phase stepper motors. The controller is available in 1-axis, 2-axis, and 3-axis versions; users can choose the appropriate controller according to the number of motion axes in their system. The HDB15 interface on the rear of the controller is used to connect to the stage and supports automatic stage recognition. Each axis has a set of SMA interfaces for input/output signal connections, and a USB Type-B interface is used for driver-free connection to a computer. The controller program provided by LBTEK not only has multiple motion control modes to meet general motion control requirements, but also adds a high-precision position compensation function, supporting secondary development in multiple languages including C/C++, LabVIEW, C#, and Python.

Joystick Controller
  • High-reliability joystick compliant with USB HID protocol
  • Joystick controller supports 3-axis control
  • Speed adjustment knob for switching between different operating speeds
  • High-precision movement
  • Emergency stop and zero-return functions
  • Ergonomic design adopted

The EMJC3 joystick controller provided by LBTEK needs to be used in conjunction with our EM-CS series stepper motor stage controllers. It is primarily designed to control the XYZ three axes, with the X-axis defaulting to left-right control, the Y-axis to up-down control, and the Z-axis to clockwise or counterclockwise rotation control. It integrates speed adjustment, stop, and homing functions, supporting emergency stop to return to the zero position. After the EM-CS series stage controller automatically recognizes the default parameters of the stage, the joystick can be plugged in and used immediately without any PC connection or setup, making it convenient and efficient. A 1.5-meter-long USB 3.1 standard Type-A to Type-C data cable is included with the shipment for connecting the joystick controller to the stage controller. When the stage controller is connected to a PC for operation, the controller software has the function to disable simultaneous joystick operation to prevent confusion caused by multi-point control, ensuring safety and reliability.
