Digital Micromirror Spatial Light Modulator is an electronically input, optically output micro-electrical-mechanical system (MEMS), with its core being the digital micromirror device, an optical semiconductor module and a MEMS chip. Each mirror can individually deflect ±12° around its hinge axis. The DMD chip primarily adjusts the rotation angle of each micromirror on the chip based on different digital signals transmitted from the front-end circuit to the CMOS chip (the deflection of the micromirror is individually controlled by the binary information of the underlying CMOS control circuit and the mirror reset signal, thereby achieving digital modulation of the light field), so that the light incident on the micromirrors is selectively reflected to the imaging plane for imaging. Since the DMD micromirrors are coated with aluminum film for reflective imaging, they hardly absorb energy, and are controlled using CMOS technology, thus surpassing other spatial light modulators in terms of light modulation speed, accuracy, energy, and efficiency. LBTEK provides a variety of ultra-high-speed digital micromirror spatial light modulators with different resolutions, operating wavelengths, and memory/storage capacities. They are widely used in spectral analysis, maskless lithography, three-dimensional measurement, naked-eye three-dimensional display, holographic imaging, compressed sensing, biological microscopy, SLA 3D printing, machine vision, etc. DMD Module Customization Instructions: The standard products on the mall adopt a 45° installation method, while also supporting customization with a 0° installation method, as well as non-standard customization services for parameters such as onboard memory capacity, FPC cable length, and operating wavelength (UV-VIS-NIR). The ultra-high-speed digital micromirror spatial light modulator provided by LBTEK features USB 3.0 high-speed image transmission and display, as well as internal and external synchronization trigger functions. It enables high-speed display of binary images, 8-bit grayscale images, 16-bit grayscale images, and other grayscale levels up to 16 (grayscale levels can be flexibly configured) at resolutions such as 1024×768, 1280×800, or 1080P (1920×1080). The digital micromirror spatial light modulator has a built-in large-capacity (32GB) memory. Users can download the operating software (along with the user manual) on their own. The product utilizes TI's advanced optical control chip, specifically designed for industrial and research scenarios, supporting precise internal and external synchronous triggering for seamless collaboration with cameras. Additionally, it features image data retention during power-off, offering outstanding cost-effectiveness.

Note: For model DMD-YX0.5-2048×1200, the micro-mirrors are oriented horizontally with an installation angle of 0°; all other models use a 45° installation method.
