LBTEK air-spaced achromatic doublet lenses are positioned with a core focus on high-performance achromatic correction and broad spectrum compatibility. These lenses adopt an air-spaced structure, where the curvatures of the two surfaces separated by air do not need to be equal. Compared to cemented doublets, they offer two additional degrees of freedom, significantly improving spherical and chromatic aberration correction accuracy, achieving spot sizes close to the diffraction limit. Additionally, the air-spaced design eliminates the cemented layer, providing stronger resistance to laser damage, making it more suitable for high-power laser systems than cemented achromatic doublets. The entire LBTEK air-spaced achromatic doublet lens series covers three broad spectral bands: 245-400 nm, 350-700 nm, and 650-1100 nm, meeting application scenarios from ultraviolet to near-infrared. The overall outer diameter of the products is 25.4 mm, with a threadless structure, allowing direct use with standard SM1 lens tubes. Furthermore, LBTEK offers flexible customization of size, focal length, etc. For details, please contact LBTEK technical support.

The LBTEK air-spaced achromatic lens adopts an air-spaced structure, where the curvatures of the two surfaces separated by air between the lenses do not need to be equal. Compared to cemented doublet lenses, this design offers two additional degrees of freedom, significantly improving the correction accuracy of spherical aberration and chromatic aberration, achieving near-diffraction-limited spot sizes. Additionally, the air-spaced design has no cement layer, providing stronger resistance to laser damage, making it more suitable for high-power laser systems than cemented achromatic lenses. LBTEK's UV air-spaced achromatic lenses are coated with an anti-reflection coating for 245-400 nm. The product housing is engraved with the model number, anti-reflection coating wavelength, focal length, and an arrow (pointing to the incident surface of collimated light). To ensure product performance, it is not recommended to disassemble the lenses yourself.

Air-spaced achromatic lens, anti-reflection coating: 350-700 nm
  • AR coating: 350-700 nm
  • Clear aperture: Ø20 mm
  • Outer diameter 1 inch, can be mounted in a Ø1 inch lens tube

The LBTEK air-spaced achromatic doublet lens adopts an air-spaced structure. The curvatures of the two surfaces separated by the air gap between the lenses do not need to be equal. Compared with cemented doublets, this provides two additional degrees of freedom, significantly improving the correction accuracy of spherical aberration and chromatic aberration, achieving spot sizes close to the diffraction limit. In addition, the air-spaced design has no cement layer, offering stronger resistance to laser damage, making it more suitable for high-power laser systems than cemented achromatic lenses. The visible-light air-spaced achromatic doublet lenses provided by LBTEK are coated with an anti-reflection coating for 350–700 nm. However, due to material transmittance limitations, the transmittance in the 350–400 nm band is relatively low. For details, please refer to the curve interface data. The product housing is engraved with the model number, anti-reflection coating wavelength, focal length, and an arrow (indicating the incident surface for collimated light). To ensure product performance, it is not recommended to disassemble the lens by yourself.
