Background

That commitment is what inspired the original Starlight Program. Today, we're proud to take it further. Starlight Program 2.0 brings stronger financial rewards and a broader support network, built specifically to recognize researchers who are doing the hard work of advancing optics. Because breakthroughs don't happen overnight — and the people behind them deserve to be seen.

Program Summary

From July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027, researchers who submit a qualifying published paper and receive approval will be rewarded in cash, calculated as Impact Factor × CNY 100. All rewards are stated as pre-tax amounts and will be disbursed in accordance with applicable tax regulations.
Authors who additionally provide a Chinese-language summary of their paper — and consent to LBTEK publishing it as original content alongside actual product application imagery — will receive a bonus of 30,000 LBTEK Store credits.
Authors who accumulate two or more approved submissions during the program period will be eligible for priority participation in LBTEK's collaborative research initiatives, early access to new product evaluation, and invitations to exclusive technical workshops and industry conferences.

Eligibility & Guidelines

• Papers must be published in journals indexed by SCI (Science Citation Index).
• The publication date must fall within the program period (July 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027).
• Applicants must be the author or corresponding author of the paper and provide a single valid DOI (Digital Object Identifier).
• The paper must reflect actual use of LBTEK products in the experimental work. The keyword "LBTEK" must appear in the main text, acknowledgments, or experimental methods section. Submissions that do not reference LBTEK products will not be considered.
• By submitting, applicants agree to grant LBTEK permission to use images and data related to LBTEK products from the paper for academic promotion, educational outreach, and product case studies.
• Receipt of a reward does not grant the applicant any right to use LBTEK trademarks or other intellectual property.
• Changsha Lubon Photoelectric Technology Co., Ltd. reserves the right to make final determinations regarding all program matters.
