LBTEK's HAWK Series Polarimeter is an instruments for measuring the polarization state of monochromatic-collimated light. The product is based on the principle of rotating waveplate technology, which modulates the incident light by rotating the waveplate, then demodulates it using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to obtain correlation coefficients, and finally calculates the Stokes Vector through inversion, deriving parameters such as Azimuth, Ellipticity, and Degree of Polarization (DOP). The HAWK Series Polarimeters can measure the polarization state of any monochromatic-collimated light, offering excellent performance in terms of high precision, high dynamic range, high sampling rate, and high stability.

The HAWK Series Polarimeter measures the state of polarization (SOP) of collimated incident light using the rotating waveplate method. The incident light must be monochromatic coherent light (laser), and the light will terminate inside the instrument. The product accepts a maximum collimated beam diameter of Ø3.0 mm, with a typical polarization degree accuracy of ±1% (maximum ±2%). The typical accuracy for azimuth and ellipticity on the Poincaré Sphere is ±0.1° (maximum ±0.25°). The front panel features SM05 internal threads, SM1 external threads, M3 coaxial system threads, etc., while the base plate provides M4/M6 mounting interfaces for compatibility with various optical components.
