The HAWK series polarimeter measures the state of polarization (SOP) of collimated incident light using the rotating waveplate method. The incident light must be monochromatic coherent light (laser), and the light will terminate inside the instrument. The product accepts a maximum collimated beam diameter of Ø3.0 mm, with a typical polarization degree accuracy of ±1% (maximum ±2%). The typical accuracy for azimuth and ellipticity on the Poincaré sphere is ±0.1° (maximum ±0.25°). The front panel features SM05 internal threads, SM1 external threads, M3 coaxial system threads, etc., while the base plate provides M4/M6 mounting interfaces for compatibility with various optical components. (Note: Other wavelength range models are currently under development—stay tuned!)
