The LBTEK High-Performance Tunable Laser is a high-specification tunable laser that employs polarization-maintaining (PM) fiber throughout the optical path from the internal laser module to the optical output port. All external optical connections are achieved via FC/APC connectors. Unlike conventional lasers with fixed output wavelengths, tunable lasers primarily achieve continuous or discrete changes in the output laser wavelength by altering physical parameters such as the refractive index and cavity length of the resonator. LBTEK's High-Performance Tunable Laser combines a meticulously designed laser cavity with an ultra-low-noise circuit substrate, delivering outstanding features such as a wide wavelength range, high optical power, low noise, narrow linewidth, and rapid mode-hop-free scanning. These characteristics enable the emitted wavelength forms to meet the requirements of most communication applications, such as WDM and related component R&D, design, production testing, and all-optical link implementation. Additionally, this laser is widely used in optical component testing, fiber transmission testing, spectroscopy, metrology, interferometry, scientific research, education, and other fields.

The TLS1056 provided by LBTEK is a high-specification tunable laser that adopts an external cavity structure, featuring a wide wavelength tuning range of 1480~1640 nm. Its robust and reliable wavelength tuning drive mechanism ensures stable performance and mode-hop-free wavelength output during long-term use. The instrument also incorporates a built-in real-time wavelength meter to guarantee wavelength accuracy. The TLS1056 can perform bidirectional scanning at speeds exceeding 150 nm/s while maintaining high wavelength precision and output stability. On the laser's main interface, users can adjust the output wavelength and frequency as needed, with four scanning modes available: unidirectional step scanning, bidirectional step scanning, unidirectional continuous scanning, and bidirectional continuous scanning. Users can select the appropriate scanning mode based on different application scenarios.
