Product Description
  • Built-in optical encoder with full closed-loop control
  • Stroke range from 100mm to 300mm
  • Compatible with ESM-CVx series controllers
  • Speed up to several hundred mm/s
  • Positioning repeatability accuracy up to ±0.25μm
The servo linear motor stages provided by LBTEK adopt a direct-drive brushless DC linear motor with non-mechanical transmission components, eliminating backlash while enabling high-speed motion, with a maximum speed of 500 mm/s and acceleration up to 10,000 mm/s². The integrated absolute linear optical encoder servo feedback system and the external dual-rail structure with precision linear ball guides provide the stage with excellent linearity and rigidity, available with bidirectional repeatability of ±0.25 μm and absolute positioning accuracy of ±2 μm after compensation. The built-in absolute encoder can instantly feedback the accurate position of the stage without homing upon power-up, ensuring flexible and convenient operation. The LMDT series stages are available with various travel ranges and certain horizontal load capacities, making them ideal for various high-precision, rapid translation applications.

The LMDT series high-precision linear motor stages provided by LBTEK offer three travel range options: 100 mm, 220 mm, and 300 mm. Utilizing direct linear motor drive for the stage movement, this design eliminates intermediate mechanical transmission components, thereby avoiding wear and tear on transmission parts during long-term use, which could otherwise affect the stage's motion accuracy. Equipped with an optical closed-loop feedback system, this series achieves bidirectional repeatability of ±0.25 μm and compensated on-axis positioning accuracy of ±2 μm. With a maximum speed of 500 mm/s, it is particularly suitable for applications requiring high speed and high positioning accuracy, including automatic alignment, surface inspection, mapping, and probing. The LMDT series linear motor stages must be used with a desktop brushless servo controller, and LBTEK offers the ESM-CVx series controllers for user selection.

Note: Do not install magnetic components on the translation stage. They may interfere with homing and, even after removal, can still affect the accuracy of the stage's encoder. When powered off, the stage has minimal inertia and can move almost freely, which may make it unsuitable for applications requiring the stage to remain in position after power-off. Additionally, due to limited vertical load capacity, vertical installation should be used with caution.

The LMDT series translation stages are used in conjunction with the ESM-CVx series controllers
