The LBTEK biased photodetector series covers three types: Si, InGaAs, and Ge. These detectors combine low noise, fast response, and no gain characteristics, making them suitable for various photodetection applications. They offer excellent performance, with a fastest rise time of only 1 ns, and can directly receive free-space input optical signals. The detector comes with a built-in A23 battery to provide reverse bias. If a power supply is preferred, the DET-12V power kit on this product page can be purchased separately. Using a BNC-BNC signal cable, the signal interface of the photodetector can be connected to an oscilloscope or other data acquisition devices. Additionally, the side of the detector features a red battery check button. Without removing the battery, a simple press allows a quick check to see if the battery needs replacement, greatly improving operational convenience and efficiency.
Note: The product includes an SM1 internally threaded sleeve, which can be removed for use.

The LBTEK high-speed biased photodetector series includes Si, InGaAs, and GaAs types, covering a wavelength range of 400-3600 nm. It combines low noise, high-speed response, and no-gain characteristics, offering excellent performance. Regarding input options, the LBTEK high-speed biased photodetector series provides both free-space and fiber-coupled choices to meet different application needs. The fiber-coupled input can easily connect to FC/PC single-mode or multi-mode fibers; the free-space input is available with either an anti-reflection coated flat window or an uncoated spherical lens, providing flexibility for optical signal collection in complex environments. The detector comes with a built-in A23 battery for reverse bias. If you prefer to use a power supply, the power kit (DET-12V) on this product page can be purchased separately. The photodetector’s signal interface can be connected to downstream acquisition equipment, such as an oscilloscope, via a BNC-SMA signal cable.
Note: Other input coupling options can be customized for different models in this series. Please contact LBTEK technical support for details.

The DET-12V power kit includes the PDCT-12V power supply and a compatible power adapter, which can be used to replace the A23 battery in biased photodetectors. When in use, the power adapter replaces the battery and the spring battery cover, converting it to a powered supply, eliminating the hassle of battery replacement during long-term use. The DET-12V power kit serves as a replacement power source for the biased photodetectors on this product page, providing a sufficiently powered supply to help the biased photodetector achieve optimal operating conditions.

The power supply is connected to the detector through the power adapter, which serves as a central link.
