Product Description
  • Polymer and glass substrate/fused silica options available
  • Operating wavelength covers 400-2000 nm(polymer)、193-2000 nm(fused silica)
  • Homogenized spot shapes include rectangle, circle, square, and line, meeting diverse optical scenario requirements
  • Flexible selection of beam divergence angles
LBTEK engineered diffuser products include two types: polymer engineered diffusers and fused silica engineered diffusers. The former utilizes polymer and glass substrates, while the latter is based on fused silica. Both types feature precisely constructed, regularly arranged, and independently adjustable microstructural units on the surface, enabling effective control over the intensity distribution of incident light, producing non-Gaussian beam profiles, and maintaining high transmittance over a wide wavelength range. The resulting homogenized beam profiles come in various shapes, including rectangular, circular, square, and linear, offering flexibility to meet different optical application requirements. Compared to traditional diffusers, engineered diffusers provide higher precision in controlling the divergence angle of the beam, improving the controllability and uniformity of the output beam. We offer uninstalled engineered diffusers.

High-performance engineering diffuser, polymer material, square
  • Polymer/Borofloat glass substrate
  • Converts incident light spot into square uniform light spot
  • Scattering angles: 2.81°, 21.4°, and 47.2°×45.4° optional

LBTEK high-performance polymer engineered diffusers offer a variety of divergence angles to choose from, effectively expanding the spot size and achieving uniform intensity distribution of the output beam. They feature a wide operating wavelength range of 400 nm to 2000 nm, with high transmittance and excellent environmental stability within this range. For optimal homogenization, it is recommended that incident light enters from the microstructured surface.
