A fiber collimator is a commonly used passive optical component that converts divergent light exiting a fiber into a collimated beam (parallel light) via an internal aspheric lens. LBTEK offers adjustable fiber collimators with FC/APC and FC/PC connector types, designed for use with single-mode fiber patch cables. Available AR coating options cover 400–700 nm, 700–1100 nm, and 1100–1700 nm, with a housing diameter of 12 mm. Rotatable adjustable-focus collimators are available in both achromatic and aspheric designs, supporting collimated output across multiple wavelengths. Achromatic doublet lenses ensure excellent collimation performance across the entire AR coating range, while aspheric lenses deliver optimal performance at a single design wavelength. LBTEK also provides custom solutions, including non-standard dimensions, custom design wavelengths, and specified output beam diameters. LBTEK offers high-precision rotatable and focus-tunable collimators with a compact structure, simplifying free-space laser-to-fiber coupling. With a rotational precision lateral displacement of up to 0.2 mm per revolution and an FC/APC interface to enhance return loss, the focus-tunable collimators are available in three coating wavelength ranges: 400 nm–700 nm, 700 nm–1100 nm, and 1100 nm–1700 nm. Focal lengths of 4.6 mm, 7.5 mm, or 11.0 mm can be selected. Each focus-tunable collimator is coated with an anti-reflection coating to minimize reflectivity. Stainless Steel Optical Mount, 2 with Locking Nut Adjusters

LBTEK stainless steel mount is used for installing Ø12 mm collimators, featuring 2 M4×0.2 precision adjusters without knobs but with locking nuts. The locking nuts are 6 mm hex nuts, adjustable with the MT-TW6 torque wrench. The collimator is secured by flexible spring plates and set screws. The 2 M4×0.2 precision adjusters without knobs but with locking nuts allow for pitch and yaw adjustment of the collimator using a hex key. The optical mount has M4 countersunk mounting holes on the side. The purchase of the LBTEK stainless steel mount includes hex socket ultra-thin head screws and a hex key.

LBTEK is suitable for mounting cylindrical optical components with a diameter of Ø12 mm, and can be installed in adjustment mounts with SM1 threads or adjustment mounts with Ø25.4 mm smooth bore holes, as well as in coaxial systems.

Adapter components can connect cylindrical elements to optomechanical components.
