LBTEK Super Achromatic Quarter-Wave Plate (SAQWP) is composed of three quartz wave plates and three MgF2 wave plates. The retardation and angles of these six plates are strictly designed and controlled to achieve achromatic performance within the intended wavelength range. The phase retardation of the LBTEK Super Achromatic Quarter-Wave Plate is π/2 within the design wavelength range, and it is commonly used to convert linearly polarized light into circularly polarized light. Compared to traditional single-wavelength wave plates, the super achromatic wave plate is not limited to a specific working wavelength and can achieve polarization state conversion for any wavelength within the design range. Compared to traditional achromatic wave plates, the super achromatic wave plate offers a broader achromatic wavelength range, better meeting customer requirements. Standard super achromatic quarter-wave plates are available with design wavelength ranges of 325-1200 nm, 355-1200 nm, 600-2700 nm, and 600-2200 nm, with clear apertures of Ø10 mm, Ø21.5 mm, and Ø45 mm, corresponding to installation in standard SM05, SM1, and SM2 lens tubes.
