The piezoelectric screw actuator kit provided by LBTEK includes 2 piezoelectric screws PTP09 and 1 controller. The PTP09 piezoelectric screw features a compact design and offers advantages such as an ultra-long stroke, high stability, nanometer-level resolution, and power-off self-locking. It is suitable for applications in precise nano-motion platform systems and non-contact compact optical adjustment devices. The piezoelectric screw actuator PTP09 offered by LBTEK features a compact design, allowing direct integration into precision translation stages or adjustment mounts to achieve long-travel, nanometer-level linear or rotary motion control. The actuator supports a maximum axial load of 30 N, with a typical step size of 5 nm, no mechanical backlash, and a power-off self-locking function. Using the accompanying piezoelectric motion controller and software, the single-step length can be flexibly adjusted within approximately ±20% of the 5 nm reference value. However, due to the limitations of the open-loop driving principle, piezoelectric hysteresis effects, and actual operating conditions, the actual step size output by the system may exhibit fluctuations within a certain range and typically lacks strict step repeatability. To achieve closed-loop positioning accuracy and step consistency, it is recommended to pair the system with an external displacement sensor (such as a grating ruler or capacitive sensor) to form a high-precision feedback control system.
