  • Typical angular resolution: 0.5urad ±20% (for 1-inch mount), 0.3urad ±20% (for 2-inch mount)
  • Piezoelectric actuator includes a knob for manual adjustment, with a 2mm hex socket on the end face for wrench operation
  • Drive cables and controller are included
  • Can accommodate Ø1-inch or Ø2-inch lenses
  • Made from heat-treated 316L stainless steel with a low coefficient of thermal expansion, designed for long-term stability
  • 440C stainless steel balls and sapphire pads, wear-resistant with low friction coefficient to prevent long-term wear
Piezoelectric stainless steel adjustment mounts offer long-term alignment stability advantages compared to standard optical mounts. They are used for mounting optical components with diameters of Ø1 inch (25.4 mm) or Ø2 inch (50.8 mm) and can be installed in either left-handed or right-handed configurations. The optical components are secured using flexible spring leaves and set screws. This design of flexible spring leaves and set screws provides significant clamping force and high beam pointing stability while minimizing deformation of the optical element. The mounts feature a piezoelectric drive adjustment design, utilizing inertia and friction to drive the adjustment screws. These piezoelectric drive adjusters have a power-off self-locking function, making them highly suitable for applications requiring long-term stability. These adjustment mounts have a wide angular adjustment range of ±4°, with a typical step size of 10-30 nm. Using the accompanying piezoelectric motion controller and software, the single-step size can be flexibly adjusted within approximately ±20% of a 10 nm reference value. The piezoelectric actuators come with knobs for manual adjustment. The set includes 2 piezoelectric screws (PTP09) and 1 controller for the piezoelectric screw actuator kit (sold separately by our company).

Stainless steel optical mounts with piezoelectric adjusters provide long-term alignment stability in closed-loop systems. These piezoelectric-driven adjusters feature power-off self-locking, making them ideal for applications requiring long-term stability. These mounts offer a wide angular adjustment range of ±4°, with a typical step size of 10-30 nm. Using the accompanying piezoelectric motion controller and software, the single-step size can be flexibly adjusted within approximately ±20% of a 10 nm reference value. The piezoelectric actuators come with knobs for manual adjustment. These piezoelectric mirror mounts include a controller, two PTP09 piezoelectric screws, and a piezoelectric screw actuator kit for the controller (sold separately by our company).

Compared to non-MT stainless steel series mounts, the MT stainless steel mounts integrate matched piezoelectric-driven adjusters and a body design that offers better durability and thermal performance. The combination of flexure springs and set screws secures the optical element without being affected by temperature, unlike rubber-tipped screws which are more sensitive to temperature fluctuations. The minimum optical element thickness is 2 mm. The set screws for adjusting the flexure springs are adjusted using a hex key; mounts with Ø1-inch and Ø2-inch apertures are adjusted with a 2 mm hex key. We strongly recommend using a torque wrench to secure the optical element to prevent surface deformation and improve thermal stability.
The side of the optical mount features M4 countersunk mounting holes. Two M4 thin-head hex screws and one each of 2.0 mm and 2.5 mm hex keys are included with purchase.
