  • Compatible with mirror mounts, XY translation mounts, and lens mounts
  • Supports secondary development in multiple languages including C/C++, LabVIEW, C#, Python
LBTEK Electric Flip Mount is a highly integrated device that combines the controller and flip mechanism into one unit. It is specifically designed for applications that require rapid insertion or removal of optical components such as lenses and filters into or from a free-space optical path. The product supports bidirectional 90° flipping and is compatible with various series of optical component mounts with diameters up to 2 inches. Through multiple control methods, magnetic limit stops, and speed feedback mechanisms, users can achieve fast and smooth switching of optical components without the need for an external standalone controller. It is widely used in scenarios such as tunable laser wavelength selection, multi-channel imaging switching, and automated optical system integration, significantly enhancing operational convenience.

Electric flip mounting base
  • Compatible with AMM mirror mounts, TXY-N translation stages, and FLF lens mounts
  • Optional versions for 1-inch optical components (EM-TMF1) or 2-inch optical components (EM-TMF2)
  • The product base features M4 threaded holes for mounting onto optical posts
  • Supports external triggering and PC triggering, includes 1 remote handheld button

The EM-TMF series is a compact, controller-integrated, all-in-one flip mount device, compatible with FLF, AMM, and TXY-N series optic mounts. Among them, the FLF series supports up to 2-inch optics, the AMM series supports up to 1-inch, and the TXY-N series supports up to 1-inch. The device offers four flip control methods: top button, included handheld button, side SMA interface for input trigger signals, and PC-based host controller. Users can control the flip mount to rotate 90° clockwise or counterclockwise via a toggle switch, and it supports absolute signal level or edge signal triggering. The side is equipped with two SMA connectors (DIG I/O 1 and DIG I/O 2) for connecting remote handheld devices or external triggers. The accompanying software supports configuring the device to output signals during "motion" or "stop" states. Configuration parameters can be saved internally, allowing independent operation without a PC. When multiple devices are used simultaneously, the software supports making the target device's LED flash green three times for quick identification. The calibration function can control the difference between the flip time and the set value to within 100 ms; the factory calibration load is approximately 120 g, and users can also recalibrate for specific loads. Please note when using mirrors: This product is not suitable for applications requiring beam stability exceeding 100 μrad. Furthermore, the product provides SDKs based on C++, C#, Python, and LabVIEW to facilitate user secondary development.

Note: Installing an adjustable mirror mount requires the dedicated dovetail block accessory EM-TMFF, which will be available soon; XY translation mounts are compatible with the included dovetail block.
