LBTEK spring-loaded 5 mm hex thumbscrew is made of 7075-T6 aluminum, the highest strength among common aluminum materials, or 303 stainless steel. The 7075-T6 material offers nearly twice the torsional performance of 6061-T6 aluminum, while the 303 stainless steel further increases torsional performance by nearly double compared to 7075-T6 aluminum. The front POM plunger effectively prevents scratching the post, and the knurled thumb screw provides initial tightening for easy positioning adjustment. Once the position is set, a 5 mm hex wrench can be used to reinforce clamping (note: excessive torque may cause the locking screw to break; it is recommended to use an L-shaped hex wrench and tighten gently by holding the short end.
