LBTEK Ø20 mm pedestal optical post has an M4 threaded hole on top and comes with a removable M4×12 stud, making it compatible with most Optic Mounts. Its bottom features a pedestal design and is compatible with the LBTEK compact fork clamp PHD-185, allowing quick mounting to an Optical Table or breadboard. The post includes a Ø3.2 mm through hole, which can provide greater torque when tightening components; we offer an optional 10-pack set.

LBTEK compact fork clamp clamps a diameter of Ø15.2 mm and is usually used together with a Ø20 mm optical post with base. The three-point contact provides good clamping force, the one-piece design ensures good rigidity, and the compact design keeps the fork clamp outer diameter no more than Ø20 mm. The post can be installed and used in a tangent, close-abutting manner; PHD-185 is made of stress-relieved 316 stainless steel to provide uniform clamping force and is tightened by an M6 hex socket head cap screw; the oblong slot length is 18.5 mm, and it can rotate 360° around the base to facilitate selection of a suitable mounting hole. Each fork clamp is supplied with a Ø6 mm flat washer, which, when used with the corresponding M6 hex socket head cap screw to secure the post, provides greater stability; please note that excessive tightening force may deform the Optical Table surface, thereby causing component misalignment and reducing stability

The Ø20 mm optical post and fork clamp kit with base provided by LBTEK saves customers time when selecting components and facilitates optomechanical system setup.
