
The Magnetic Quick-Release Translation Mount provided by LBTEK can be divided into two parts: the XY translation mount and the magnetic quick-release plate. When used alone as an XY mount, its functionality is identical to that of the TXY1 and TXY1S. When paired with the magnetic coaxial quick-release plate, optical components with a maximum thickness of 5 mm and a diameter of Ø25.4 mm can be secured within the SM1 internal threads of the quick-release plate using the included SM1R retaining ring, enabling rapid removal of optical components within a coaxial system. The mount base features laser-engraved vertical and horizontal scale markings to assist in aligning the magnetic quick-release plate. Additionally, both parts of the mount have laser-engraved reference points to indicate the correct orientation for fixing the quick-release mounting plate. The side of the magnetic quick-release plate includes a blank area for labeling optical components installed in the TXY1QF, facilitating differentiation among multiple quick-release plates. Furthermore, additional quick-release plates can be purchased separately.

The TXY1QF Magnetic Quick-Release Plates provided by LBTEK use NdFeB magnets and 440C high-precision positioning steel balls to attach to XY translation mounts, enabling quick release of optical components within coaxial systems. It accommodates optical components with a maximum thickness of 5 mm, is compatible with SM1 lens tubes, and includes an SM1R retaining ring. This magnetic quick-release plate features laser-engraved vertical and horizontal alignment lines as well as reference markers. The alignment lines assist in positioning the quick-release plate, while the reference markers indicate the correct installation orientation—aligning these markers with the points on the mount ensures proper fixation. A blank area on the side of the magnetic quick-release plate allows for labeling installed optical components, facilitating identification among multiple quick-release plates.

The STXY1-A/S/D models are all equipped with two adjusters, driven by a threaded pair/micrometer head/differential head respectively. The differential drive head consists of two internal lead screws for differential drive; one advances the spindle with a precision of 500 µm per revolution, while the other retracts it with a precision of 450 µm per revolution. Therefore, one full rotation of the graduated knob results in a total spindle displacement of only 50 µm, enabling precise positioning. During fine adjustment with the differential head, coarse adjustment can be locked using a hand-tightened nut. Suitable for mounting Ø25.4 mm optical elements, it allows fine-tuning of the optical element position in the X and Y directions with a travel range of ±3 mm. The XY translation module features an SM1 internal thread and includes two SM1R retaining rings for mounting optical elements with a maximum thickness of 12.2 mm. It is compatible with Ø25.4 mm lens tubes. The front panel center has an SM1 internal thread, compatible with Ø25.4 mm lens tubes. This mount has three M4 threaded holes, allowing direct mounting onto optical posts, and is also compatible with 30 mm cage systems. The XY translation mount stage dimensions are 66×66 mm. Note: The STXY1-S drive method is micrometer head drive. Due to manufacturing tolerances in the micrometer head, there may be deviations in the XY travel range of the mount.

LBTEK's 16 mm coaxial system XY displacement stage provides ±1.0 mm travel perpendicular to the optical axis of the 16 mm coaxial system. It features two adjusters, with a fine adjustment precision of 0.25 mm/revolution in the X and Y axes. The front and rear plates of the stage are stationary, while the stage itself can move along the X and Y directions. The XY movement module includes an SM05 internal thread and comes with an SM05R retaining ring for securely mounting optical components with a maximum thickness of 5.8 mm. Both the non-movable front and rear plates of the stage are compatible with 0.5-inch lens tubes for photosensitive applications.

The LBTEK XY Slide Positioner is used for coarse positioning of optical components in the XY direction within a 30 mm coaxial system. It is designed for manual adjustment only and is recommended for use with alignment lasers to monitor centering. The front plate can be secured relative to the rear plate using two locking screws. The central SM1 internal threaded hole can secure optical components up to 8.6 mm thick with a diameter of Φ 25.4 mm, or it can directly mount SM1 external threaded components. The four through-holes on the back plate feature side-locking set screws to secure four Φ 6 mm coaxial rods, making it compatible with our 16 mm coaxial system.
