Free-Space Rotation Mount is designed for mounting anisotropic optical components (such as polarization optics). It features a central SM-series internal threaded mounting hole and comes with an SM-series retaining ring for securing optical components. The rotation mount allows 360° rotation of the internal optical component, with graduation marks at 2° intervals and numerical indicators every 20°. A locking screw on the side can secure the rotating body. The base includes an M4 threaded hole for connection to optical posts.

For fine adjustment, the micrometer head provides an adjustment range of ±5° with an accuracy of 1.2′ (0.02°), and the micrometer head can be locked via the thumb screw on its top. The base features an M4 threaded hole for connecting to optical posts.

It features 360° rotation with a scale accuracy of 2° per division, and a differential scale of 5′ per division. The side is equipped with a locking screw to secure the rotating body. The end face has two countersunk locking screws—when loosened, the dial can be adjusted independently for zeroing without affecting the optical component's position. This allows for aligning the optical axis of the waveplate with the dial after installation. Once the position is adjusted, tightening the countersunk screws fixes the dial in place. The base includes an M4 threaded hole for connecting to optical posts.
The dial can be zeroed individually and can be used for components such as wave plates.
