LBTEK lens tubes are commonly used to secure Ø25.4 mm optical components or for light path shading to prevent ambient light from affecting the system. LBTEK's SM1 lens tubes come in three versions: with both internal and external threads (SM1-xxA, SM1-xxD), internal threads only (SM1-xxB), and external threads only (SM1-xxC). The lens tube combinations can be connected to extend the length, facilitating the rapid setup of compact optical systems. By using a retaining ring wrench, the retaining ring can be positioned at the desired location inside the lens tube to separate and secure optical components.
In addition to the standard SM1 lens tubes, LBTEK also offers SM05 and SM2 lens tubes, along with compatible accessories such as lens tube adapters, retaining rings, and retaining ring wrenches.

The LBTEK internal and external threaded lens sleeve features SM1 external threads on one end and SM1 internal threads on the other, primarily designed for securing optical components with a diameter of Ø25.4 mm. It adopts an expandable design, making it suitable for quickly assembling compact optical systems. Each lens sleeve comes with an SM1R retaining ring for securing optical components. The SM1-8V includes 12.5 mm external threads and an external retaining ring, allowing adjustable connection depth for the lens sleeve. The SM1-50D features external slots, enabling lens position adjustment without removing the retaining ring. After adjustment, rotating the outer sleeve can cover the slots.

The LBTEK internal threaded lens tube features SM1 internal threads on both ends, allowing direct installation and removal of Ø25.4 mm optical components from either side. It can be used in conjunction with SM1-xxA, SM1-25C, or SM1-12.5T to extend the length of the lens tube. Each lens tube comes with two SM1R retaining rings for securing optical components.
