LBTEK precision adjustment screw assemblies are primarily used in opto-mechanical motion products, such as common optical mount series products, to control the precision of product movement. The LBTEK precision adjustment screw assembly mainly consists of three parts: a knurled knob, a hexagonal adjuster, and a threaded bushing, which can be disassembled and reassembled by the user. The threaded connection part of the assembly is coated with damping grease, enabling smooth and seamless engagement between the threaded bushing and the hexagonal adjuster while also reducing wear between them. The hexagonal adjuster features a 2 mm internal hex hole at its head, which can be used with the included detachable knurled knob for precise adjustment, achieving an adjustment precision of 0.25 mm per revolution.

Differential screw assembly, coarse adjustment accuracy 0.25 mm/rev, fine adjustment accuracy 0.025 mm/rev, adhesive type
  • Adjustment accuracy: coarse adjustment 0.25 mm/rev, fine adjustment 0.025 mm/rev
  • Recommended bore size for threaded bushing: 8.6 mm (0~+0.02 mm)
  • Adjustment range: coarse adjustment 8 mm, fine adjustment 0.4 mm

The LBTEK differential screw assembly features both coarse and fine adjustments. The coarse adjustment has a travel of 8 mm with an accuracy of 0.25 mm/revolution, while the fine adjustment offers a travel of 0.4 mm with a precision of 0.025 mm/revolution. The coarse adjustment utilizes an M6×0.25 screw, whereas the fine adjustment achieves its 0.025 mm/revolution accuracy through a differential screw design. Coarse adjustment is performed using a 2 mm hex wrench, and fine adjustment is done with a 1.5 mm wrench. Note that due to the differential adjustment mechanism, there is a slight backlash in the differential adjustment. It is recommended to use this screw assembly with a preload of 1 kg or more to eliminate the backlash. The screw assembly includes a knurled screw for locking the assembly in place.
