Product Description
  • The best choice for high-power applications
  • Optimal performance design for spherical single lenses
  • Achieves diffraction-limited performance with small input beam diameters
  • Operating wavelength: 350 nm-2 μm (uncoated)
The LBTEK Best-Form Lenses are designed to achieve minimal spherical aberration when using spherical lenses. For spherical lenses, a given focal length can be obtained through different combinations of curvature radii on the front and rear surfaces. However, each surface combination results in varying degrees of spherical aberration. The best-form lenses optimize the curvature radius of each surface to minimize spherical aberration, making them suitable for infinite conjugate applications. LBTEK Best-Form Lenses are manufactured using N-BK7 glass that complies with RoHS standards. N-BK7 is the most commonly used material for high-quality optical components. LBTEK offers uncoated best-form lenses as well as lenses with three types of AR coatings: 400 nm–700 nm, 700 nm–1100 nm, and 1100 nm–1650 nm. All our lenses undergo precision machining and strict quality control to ensure that LBTEK provides users with high-quality lens products at reasonable prices.

Best Form Lens, N-BK7, Uncoated: 350 nm-2.0 μm
  • Substrate Material: N-BK7
  • Operating Wavelength: 350 nm-2 μm (uncoated)
  • Application: Imaging, Beam Collimation, Focusing

LBTEK's Best Form Lenses are an ideal replacement for cemented lenses in high-power applications at infinite conjugates. Since best-form lenses can optimize the spot size to the minimum, they theoretically achieve diffraction-limited performance. To obtain the best focusing effect, the surface with a smaller radius of curvature should face the collimated light source. All circular lenses from LBTEK come pre-installed with standard lens sleeves or lens mounting adapters. These mechanical components are engraved with the product model, type, diameter, and focal length for easy identification of lens parameters by users.

The LBTEK Lens Housing Surface is engraved with product model and other information.
