LBTEK Custom Diffractive Optical Elements (Custom DOEs) can cover various Micro-Optics & Nano-Optics components such as planar lenses, polarization gratings, vortex waveplates, Airy beam generators, beam homogenizers, phase plates, beam splitters, pattern generators, etc.
★ For detailed customization parameter capabilities, please refer to the [Customization Capabilities] module.
★ Custom file requirements instructions:
Customers can provide grayscale image files, or data table files in formats such as xls, csv, mat, etc., as the data source for custom processing;
The data source must clearly indicate the data type: phase data / liquid crystal molecular orientation angle data.
LBTEK Custom Diffractive Optical Elements (Custom DOEs) are a category of diffractive optical element products specially designed and fabricated based on micro/nano fabrication processes according to customer requirements. By processing two-dimensional structures at the micron and nanometer scales on a flat substrate surface, the element can efficiently transform the input beam into any arbitrary spot shape. Typical functions of custom DOEs include homogenization, beam splitting, focus shaping, and ring shaping, etc.
Laser direct writing technology is one of the main techniques for fabricating diffractive optical elements. Various microstructures can be fabricated by modulating the exposure beam power density, beam spot size, and polarization state. The LBTEK laser direct writing system uses a laser beam with adjustable polarization state to expose birefringent materials on the substrate surface. By controlling the exposure spot size and the polarization direction of the beam, the arrangement of liquid crystal molecules on the substrate is altered. After exposure and development, corresponding micro/nano structural patterns are formed on the substrate surface. For more details on customization, please contact LBTEK technical support.
