Product Description
  • Absorb laser beam energy
  • Special metal surface treatment process, resistant to higher temperatures without discoloration or oil formation
  • Heat dissipation groove design for better cooling effect and lower surface temperature during operation
  • Graphite-free, suitable for specific laboratory environments
The Laser Beam Trap is a commonly used laboratory safety device designed to absorb the energy of laser beams. In optical experiments, additional laser lines are often generated, and the laser beam trap can be used to collect excess laser beam, protecting the eyes of experimenters and ensuring the experiment remains undisturbed. The LBT1 laser beam trap provided by LBTEK is suitable for continuous laser with a maximum input power of 50 W and employs natural air cooling. The LBT2L-M laser beam trap is suitable for continuous light with a maximum input power of 150 W and utilizes water cooling + natural air cooling. For operation,, just align the beam into the input aperture. Usage note: When collecting laser beam, avoid direct contact with body parts to prevent burns.

  • SM05 internal threaded input port
  • Compatible with 30 mm coaxial systems
  • With M4 threaded mounting holes

The LBT1 Laser Beam Trap provided by LBTEK adopts a natural air-cooling method, suitable for wavelengths of 200 nm–3 μm, and is only applicable to continuous light with a maximum power of 50 W. The M4 threaded mounting hole at its bottom can be used to install a Ø12.7 mm stainless steel optical post. The LBT2L-M water-cooled laser beam trap utilizes both natural air-cooling and water-cooling methods, suitable for wavelengths of 100 nm–3 μm. When paired with a water chiller or water-cooling system, under conditions of 25 °C and a water supply of 1 L/min, it can handle continuous or pulsed light with a maximum power of 150 W. Both sides feature M4 and M6 threaded mounting holes for installing Ø12.7 mm and Ø25 mm stainless steel optical posts, respectively. Both models are equipped with an input port featuring SM05 internal threads, surrounded by four M3 threaded holes for mounting LBTEK Ø6 mm coaxial system installation posts, compatible with 30 mm coaxial systems. Additionally, the LBT2L-M water-cooled Laser Beam Trap includes quick-connect water tube fittings compatible with water tubes of Ø6 mm outer diameter.
