The LBTEK Thin Film Linear Polarizer consists of front and rear N-BK7 glass substrates with a linear polarizing film sandwiched in between, offering two mounting options —the retaining ring and the rotation mirror mount. Across the entire component surface, the transmission axis remains consistent, making it suitable for generating linearly polarized light beams with specific polarization directions while ensuring the high extinction ratio and a wide range of incident angle. LBTEK provides thin film linear polarizers with operating wavelengths of 400-700 nm and 700-1700 nm, along with flexible customization of parameter specifications to meet diverse application requirements. The LBTEK Square Thin Film Polarizers are available in two models: FLP-VIS-50/FLP-VIS-100, with dimensions of 50×50 mm or 100×100 mm respectively, and an operating wavelength range of 400–700 nm. Both sides of the thin film polarizer are coated with protective films, which are marked with the polarization direction. The protective films can be peeled off as needed when in use. The thin film polarizer can transmit and absorb the polarized light within specific wavelength ranges, making it suitable for low-power applications and capable of achieving ultra-high extinction ratios.

The thin film linear polarizers with an operating wavelength range of 400-700 nm, have anti-reflection coatings on both air-contact surfaces of the substrates for corresponding wavelength bands. The thin film linear pilarizer with clear apertures of Ø10 mm, Ø21.5 mm, and Ø45 mm respectively, are mounted in mechanical retaning rings with diameters of Ø12.7 mm, Ø25.4 mm, and Ø50.8 mm. The thin film linear polarizer is suitable for low-power applications and offers high extinction ratios and a wide incidence angle range of ±20° when used to generate the linearly polarized light. All three product models are marked with the product numbers and transmission axis direction on the housings for convenient use by customers. Note: Due to product version updates, discrepancies may occur between the engraved markings on the housing and the actual product model. However, this does not affect product performance.
