The designed diameter of the internal winding posts provides comprehensive protection for the fibers inside the box. The LBTEK fiber storage box can also be used in conjunction with SC and DLC strip fiber interconnection tools, offering more options for fiber interface configurations.

The LBTEK fiber storage tray is manufactured using black resin 3D printing. The OFB is suitable for storing fiber optic components with cylindrical housings of any diameter ranging from 3.0 mm to 6.0 mm, as well as fiber optic cables with Ø900 µm jackets. It features a stainless steel spring clip on top to secure the component housings in place. Depending on the length of the fiber, choose the appropriate channel for storage. After storage, the two included gland clamps can be pressed onto the coiled fiber to fasten them securely, preventing movement within the tray. The storage tray can be rotated 180° relative to another tray for stacking, saving laboratory space. The OFB1 can store fibers with jacket diameters of Ø900 µm. Its recessed and notched design allows for stacking multiple trays. The bottom is equipped with four magnets, enabling the tray to adhere to magnetic surfaces and preventing displacement when multiple trays are stacked. Both storage trays come with M6 countersunk slot holes for mounting on optical tables or breadboards.
When coiling the fiber onto the OFB, multiple channels are available for selection. Suitable for storing fibers of various lengths.

It includes two mounting slots on the back with a spacing of 168.3 mm for wall installation.
