LBTEK spring-loaded 5 mm hex thumbscrew is made of 7075-T6 aluminum, the highest strength among common aluminum materials, or 303 stainless steel. The 7075-T6 material offers nearly twice the torsional performance of 6061-T6 aluminum, while the 303 stainless steel further increases torsional performance by nearly double compared to 7075-T6 aluminum. The front POM plunger effectively prevents scratching the post, and the knurled thumb screw provides initial tightening for easy positioning adjustment. Once the position is set, a 5 mm hex wrench can be used to reinforce clamping (note: excessive torque may cause the locking screw to break; it is recommended to use an L-shaped hex wrench and tighten gently by holding the short end. The recommended maximum torque for 7075-T6 material is 3.2 N·m, and for 303 stainless steel material is 8 N·m).

The SSDH series double-ended socket set screws from LBTEK are available in three specifications: M3×5.5 mm, M4×11.5 mm, and M6×15.5 mm, each featuring double-ended socket screws on both ends. Packaged 50 units per box with included the hex key, these screws can be extracted from post ends using the provided tools. Note: The reduced engagement depth (0.5 mm shorter than standard cup-point set screws) ensures compatibility with M3×6 mm, M4×12 mm, and M6×16 mm cup-point screws while maintaining interchangeability.
