When using the LBTEK Polarization Analyzer, the light beam must first be input to the target surface through free space or an FC/APC fiber connector. The analyzer integrates a quarter-wave plate and a polarizer internally. By rotating the direction of the wave plate, the polarization state of the incident light can be adjusted to allow only the polarized light aligned with the polarizer's polarization direction to pass through. The photodetector receives the optical signal, and the software analyzes the photodiode signal along with the time/position information of the quarter-wave plate to derive the corresponding Stokes parameters. The polarization state is then depicted on the Poincaré sphere, allowing any changes in the polarization state to be directly observed. The SK010PA series also comes standard with an M4 threaded adapter for securing the polarization analyzer.
