Product Description
  • Multiple operating wavelengths available
  • Free-space or fiber-coupled input via accessory conversion
  • Simple software operation for easy adjustment and measurement setup
  • Polarization state measurements include: four Stokes parameters, Polarization Extinction Ratio (PER), Degree of Polarization (DOP), and Ellipticity
  • Provides software programs for PM fiber polarization performance evaluation and alignment
LBTEK's Polarization Analyzer SK010PA series is a versatile measurement and testing system that couples light beams into polarization-maintaining fibers or operates in free space. It features plug-and-play functionality and can be directly connected to a Windows device via a USB port. The device has a compact structure, allowing for easy integration into existing systems and quick alignment and measurement. During polarization state measurement, Stokes parameters are displayed in real-time on the software interface, and the Poincaré sphere on the interface depicts the polarization state. LBTEK's Polarization Analyzer comes standard with the following accessories: FC/APC fiber adapters, USB data cables, and M4 threaded adapters for user convenience.

Polarization Analyzers
  • Real-time information transmission and control
  • Free space or FC/APC fiber optic connector input
  • Polarization state can be displayed on the Poincaré sphere or polarization ellipse

When using the LBTEK Polarization Analyzer, the light beam must first be input to the target surface through free space or an FC/APC fiber connector. The analyzer integrates a quarter-wave plate and a polarizer internally. By rotating the direction of the wave plate, the polarization state of the incident light can be adjusted to allow only the polarized light aligned with the polarizer's polarization direction to pass through. The photodetector receives the optical signal, and the software analyzes the photodiode signal along with the time/position information of the quarter-wave plate to derive the corresponding Stokes parameters. The polarization state is then depicted on the Poincaré sphere, allowing any changes in the polarization state to be directly observed. The SK010PA series also comes standard with an M4 threaded adapter for securing the polarization analyzer.
