Product Description
  • Laser optical trapping forces can be used to freely capture particles and manipulate them for movement or rotation
  • The XYZ three-axis translation stage allows convenient displacement adjustment to achieve relative motion between particles and the laser
  • By connecting a CMOS camera to a computer, the laser manipulation of particle motion can be displayed in real-time
  • It can be installed on a 45cm*60cm optical breadboard for easy overall movement without repeated adjustments
  • A complete set of particle preparation tools, system installation tools, and detailed product manuals are provided to facilitate user installation and operation
The LBTEK Optical Tweezers System Based on Vortex Waveplates mainly consists of a laser module, beam expansion module, polarization module, beam reduction module, dichroic mirror module, CMOS camera module, motion control module, and illumination module: 1) The laser output is expanded in beam diameter after passing through the beam expansion system. 2) The expanded beam first passes through a polarizer, converting the entire beam into linearly polarized light. It then passes through a quarter-wave plate at a specific angle, transforming the beam into circularly polarized light. Finally, after passing through the vortex waveplate, the emitted beam becomes a vortex beam with a specific topological charge. Rotating the quarter-wave plate changes the sign of the topological charge of the vortex beam. 3) The beam reduction system shrinks the beam for easier entry into the objective lens. 3) A high-power oil immersion objective lens is selected to achieve a finer tweezer tip and greater trapping force. 4) The sample is placed on an XYZ three-axis translation stage, enabling displacement along the X, Y, and Z axes. 5) Light from the white LED illumination source is shaped and then directed onto the sample under observation. 6) The illumination light carrying laser-trapped sample information passes through the objective lens, transmits through the dichroic mirror, and is reflected by a mirror before being incident on the CMOS camera for imaging. 7) Considering that the dichroic mirror cannot completely isolate the laser, some of the laser light reflected from the sample will partially transmit through the dichroic mirror and reach the CMOS, affecting imaging quality. A filter is added in front of the CMOS to further block the laser beam. An achromatic lens is also included to adjust the field of view and enhance the brightness of the light incident on the CMOS.

Fixed Microscope Slide Holders
  • Compatible slides wider than 44 mm
  • Compatible petri dish diameter: 37.1 mm~41.4 mm
  • Mounted on a translation mount with M6 tapped holes spaced 50 mm apart

The LBTEK Fixed Microscope Slide Holder is designed for petri dishes and microscope slides on the Z-axis of LBTEK's three-axis translation platform, enabling integration into customized microscope setups such as optical tweezers. Two sets of mounting holes provide versatile applications: one set features four M4 countersunk holes with a 12.5 mm spacing, while the other has two M6 countersunk slots with a 50 mm spacing, ensuring compatibility with various components. The spring clips can be rotated for easy replacement of glass slides and petri dishes. The OT-SH1 clamp features a central 25.4 mm clear aperture for light transmission. The OT-SH35 offers a larger 35 mm clear aperture, accommodating not only microscope slides but also test targets, large-diameter objectives, and other rectangular optical components with widths exceeding 44.0 mm.

Fixed microscope slide holders are commonly used to hold slides, etc.
