Product Description
  • Front/back surfaces coated with beamsplitter coating/anti-reflective coatings respectively
  • Four wavelength designs suitable for Nd:YAG laser applications
  • 30 arcmin wedge design on both surfaces to separate reflected and transmitted light
  • Available in Ø12.7 mm and Ø25.4 mm diameters
When using Nd:YAG lasers, it is often necessary to distinguish the fundamental frequency of the output laser from its harmonic components. LBTEK Nd:YAG Harmonic Beamsplitters utilize the transmission and reflection effects of different optical coatings on different wavelengths. The incident surface is coated with a beamsplitter coating, effectively separating the harmonics of the Nd:YAG laser. The output surface is coated with a V-type AR coating, minimizing reflections at the air-glass interface within a specific wavelength band (compared to the typical reflectivity of 4% on uncoated optical surfaces, the AR coating reduces the average reflectivity of each surface to below 0.5% within the specified wavelength band). Combined with a 30-arcmin wedge structure, this effectively reduces interference effects between reflected light from the incident and output surfaces. LBTEK offers Nd:YAG harmonic beamsplitters in four wavelength configurations and two sizes: Ø12.7 mm and Ø25.4 mm. LBTEK also offers a variety of customization services, including custom sizes and design wavelengths. For specific customization requirements, please contact LBTEK Technical Support.
