Product Description
  • Circular polarizing film/N-BK7 Window, sandwich flat structure with mechanical housings
  • Commonly used for mutual conversion between left-handed/right-handed circularly polarized light and linearly polarized light
  • Easy operation, high price-performance ratio, large incident angles
  • Operating wavelength band range: 400-700 nm
  • Custom services for parameter specifications available
The LBTEK Economy Thin Film Circular Polarizer adopts a sandwich structure, consisting of a film and two N-BK7 windows, pre-installed in a metal housing. The film is composed of a linear polarizing layer and a λ/4 waveplate layer, with both air-contacting surfaces and the window plates coated with broadband anti-reflection coatings (400 nm-700 nm). The circular polarizer can convert incident natural light or light of any polarization state into left-handed or right-handed circularly polarized light, and can also transform left-handed or right-handed circularly polarized light into linearly polarized light. Since this polarizer is highly sensitive to stress, it is mounted in a metal retaining ring to prevent performance degradation during improper installation. There are two scale lines on the front side of the LBTEK Economy Thin Film Circular Polarizer's metal retaining ring, indicating the transmission direction of the internal linear polarizing component. When the light beam is incident from the side with the scale lines, the emergent light is circularly polarized. The economy thin film circular polarizer can meet the requirements of most circular polarization-related applications. If you have higher demands for ellipticity, we also offer custom high-performance thin film circular polarizers. For details, please consult LBTEK Technical Support.

Economy Thin Film Left-Handed Circular Polarizers, 400-700 nm
  • Left-handed circular polarizing film/N-BK7 window
  • Operating wavelength: 400-700 nm
  • AOI: ±15°

The LBTEK Economy Thin Film Left-Handed Circular Polarizer is mounted within a metal retaining ring to ensure that the polarizer is not subjected to direct force during installation and use. The left-handed circular polarizer can convert the incident natural light or the light of any polarization state into the left-handed circularly polarized light. Additionally, this polarizer can also transform the left-handed circularly polarized light into the linearly polarized light. The front side of the LBTEK circular polarizer metal retaining ring is engraved with two scale lines, which indicate the transmission direction of the internal linear polarizing component. When the light beam is incident from the side with the scale lines, the emergent light is circularly polarized, facilitating easy identification and use by customers.

The left-handed circular polarizer is often installed on a 30 mm coaxial system rotation mount.

Economy Thin Film Right-Handed Circular Polarizers, 400-700 nm
  • Right-handed circular polarizing film/N-BK7 Window
  • Operating wavelength: 400-700 nm
  • AOI: ±15°

The LBTEK Economy Thin Film Right-Handed Circular Polarizer is mounted within a metal retaining ring to ensure that the polarizer is not subjected to direct force during installation and use. The right-handed circular polarizer can convert the incident natural light or the light of any polarization state into the right-handed circularly polarized light. Additionally, this polarizer can also transform the right-handed circularly polarized light into the linearly polarized light.

The right-handed circular polarizer is often installed on a 30 mm coaxial system rotation mount.
