Product Description
  • Used to Compensate for the Phase Difference of Light Beams Caused by the Non-zero Thickness of Optical Components
  • UV Fused Silica Substrate, Suitable for the 250 nm-450 nm Wavelength Range
  • Optimal Incident Angle 45°, Commonly Used in High-precision Optical Interference Applications
  • Two Specifications Available: Circular (with Wedge Angle) and Rectangular (without Wedge Angle)
The LBTEK 45° beam splitter compensator is an optical window used to compensate for phase differences between beams. It is often paired with beam splitters made of the same substrate material and thickness, ensuring that all beams pass through substrates of identical thickness. This minimizes phase discrepancies between split beams, thereby yielding superior experimental results. Depending on the wavelength range, the substrate materials of these compensators typically feature low refractive index, high uniformity, and low thermal expansion coefficients. Currently, LBTEK offers 45° beam splitter compensators with UV-grade fused silica substrates suitable for the 250 nm–450 nm wavelength range. These are available in two size options: circular (1-inch diameter) and rectangular (25 mm × 36 mm). LBTEK's 45° beam splitter compensators deliver excellent performance, efficiently eliminating phase differences between beams. Additionally, LBTEK provides various customization services, including tailored materials, wavelength compatibility, and dimensions/thickness specifications. 45° Beam Splitter Compensators, Anti-Reflection Coating, Circular
  • Capable to Compensate for the Phase Difference Caused by Beams Passing Through Optical Substrates of Varying Thicknesses
  • Commonly Used in High-precision Interferometric Applications, Paired With Beam Splitters
  • 30 Arcmin Wedge Angle Design on the Rear Surface to Reduce Ghosting
The 45° beam-splitting compensator provided by LBTEK is an optical window that can be used to compensate for the phase difference caused by beams passing through substrates of different thicknesses. Unlike the 0° angle of incidence design of traditional window plates, the optimal angle of incidence for the beam-splitting compensator is designed at 45°, making it generally used in conjunction with beam splitters.
