LBTEK's Polarizing Plate Beamsplitters are polarizing optical components used to separate the P- and S-polarization components of incident light, transmitting P-polarized light while reflecting S-polarized light. Manufactured from UV Fused Silica, each beamsplitter features a narrowband polarizing coating on both entrance and exit faces and is available at nine standard wavelengths: 405 nm, 532 nm, 780 nm, 808 nm, 1030 nm, 1064 nm, 1310 nm, and 1550 nm. At a 45° AOI, these beamsplitters achieve an extinction ratio of Tp:Ts > 10,000:1. However, deviating from this angle will result in a decrease in the extinction ratio. The circular version (Ø25.4 mm) has a thickness of 5.0 mm and features a side-surface engraved arrow pointing toward the entrance face, while its exit face is engineered with a 30 arcmin wedge to suppress ghost images. Conversely, the rectangular version (25 mm × 36 mm) features a slim 1.0 mm profile without a wedge, making it ideal for space-constrained applications and supporting dual-side incidence.
