LBTEK Multi-Focus Lenses are fabricated on N-BK7 windows with a single-layer substrate structure. One side of the window is coated with a liquid crystal polymer film exhibiting uniform phase retardance across the entire clear aperture, equal to 1/2 of the operating wavelength; the other side is coated with an AR coating, and light should be incident from the AR-coated side. To ensure equal energy at each focal point, the incident beam size must match the clear aperture of the multi-focus lens. LBTEK can customize multi-focus lenses based on liquid crystal polymer with specific wavelengths, focal lengths, numbers of focal points, and dimensions. Important notes: ● This product uses a single-layer protective substrate. Please distinguish between the AR-coated side (i.e., the incident surface) and the liquid crystal polymer side — the side pointed to by the tip of the "V" mark is the liquid crystal polymer side. ● Avoid any form of physical contact with the liquid crystal polymer side, including scratching or rubbing. ● Never use alcohol, water, acetone, or similar solvents to wipe the liquid crystal polymer side. If cleaning is required, prefer non-contact methods such as compressed air.
