The LBTEK supermirror is fabricated by depositing multiple layers of dielectric reflective coatings with alternating high and low refractive indices on a UV-grade fused silica substrate. By increasing the number of coating layers, the reflectivity can be enhanced, enabling the supermirror to achieve a reflectivity exceeding 99.99% at the designed wavelength. It is ideally suited for optical systems requiring extremely high reflectivity. LBTEK offers supermirrors at five standard wavelengths: 532 nm, 632.8 nm, 780 nm, 1064 nm, and 1550 nm. The LBTEK super mirror utilizes a fused silica substrate with an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion and outstanding thermal shock stability. The frosted back design effectively reduces the impact of back-reflected light on experimental systems. LBTEK offers super mirrors with a diameter of 25.4 mm, designed for a 45° angle of incidence, and optimized for wavelengths of 532 nm, 632.8 nm, 780 nm, 1064 nm, and 1550 nm.
