The LBTEK air-spaced doublet collimator is pre-aligned and can be used to collimate laser beams emitted from optical fibers, delivering diffraction-limited performance at the operating wavelength with excellent spherical and chromatic aberration correction. The collimator features a compact overall design, and the air-spaced doublet collimator is equipped with anti-reflection coatings to effectively reduce surface reflections. Each collimator is factory-aligned according to its operating wavelength, with the distance between the lens and the inserted fiber tip set at one focal length. Additionally, the FC/APC version has an angled interface, ensuring that the beam exiting the fiber enters the collimator perpendicular to the focal plane. The LBTEK air-spaced doublet collimator offers multiple design wavelength options ranging from 405 nm to 1550 nm, with three fiber connector versions available: FC/PC, FC/APC, and SMA. Customization services are also provided, including tailored specifications such as different wavelengths, connector types, housing dimensions, and output beam sizes. The air-spaced doublet collimators provided by LBTEK have no moving parts, featuring a compact structure unaffected by misalignment, which simplifies the coupling of free-space lasers to optical fibers. The air-spaced doublet collimators with FC/PC connectors are currently available in ten design wavelengths: 405 nm, 450 nm, 520 nm, 635 nm, 780 nm, 850 nm, 980 nm, 1064 nm, 1310 nm, and 1550 nm.
