Product Description
  • Optical Material: N-BK7;
  • Operating Wavelength: 350 nm-2.0 μm (uncoated)
  • Application: imaging, beam expander,convergence;
The plano-convex lenses from LBTEK feature one convex surface and one flat surface, providing positive focal lengths typically used for beam reduction, focal length shortening, or imaging magnification applications. To minimize spherical aberration, when a plano-convex lens is used for focusing a collimated beam, the beam should be incident on the curved surface; when collimating a point source, the beam should be incident on the flat surface. LBTEK manufactures these lenses using N-BK7, the most common optical material for visible light and near-infrared applications. The 780V coating offers lower reflectivity at the operating wavelength and higher damage thresholds, making it ideal for diode lasers and applications where light passes through complex optical systems. All lenses undergo precision machining and strict quality control, ensuring LBTEK delivers high-quality optical products at competitive prices.

Negative Meniscus Lens, N-BK7, Uncoated: 350 nm-2.0 μm
  • Substrate Material: N-BK7;
  • Operating Wavelength: 350 nm-2.0 μm (uncoated);

The negative meniscus lenses from LBTEK are primarily designed to minimize spherical aberration. When combined with another lens, the negative meniscus lens can increase the focal length while reducing the system's numerical aperture (NA) without introducing significant spherical aberration. For minimizing spherical aberration when collimating parallel light, the convex surface of the lens should face the direction of the light source.

Lens unmounted from LBTEK is suitable for building compact systems.

All circular lenses from LBTEK can be mounted in LBTEK standard lens tubes, fixed lens mount, and various coaxial mounting plates, allowing customers to select the optimal mounting solution for different application scenarios.

Lens unmounted from LBTEK is suitable for building compact systems.
