Product Description
  • Magnetic beam height ruler with metric and imperial scale markings
  • Absorption force available
  • Uniform scattering anodized protective film
  • Threaded construction cube provides stability
  • Magnetic beam height ruler mounting bracket suitable for horizontal and vertical beam measurements
The LBTEK Magnetic Beam Height Ruler is used for beam height measurement. The front side is engraved with metric and imperial scale lines, with a column of circular holes next to each scale for laser passage, enabling quick adjustment of the optical path height. The ruler's base is equipped with magnets, allowing it to adhere to the surface of an optical platform. The threaded construction cube is often fixed to the back of the MHG-130P to enhance stability. The Magnetic Beam Height Ruler Mount can vertically install two magnetic beam height rulers, facilitating both horizontal and vertical beam measurements.

Magnetic Beam Height Rulers
  • Scale line spacing is 1.0 mm and 1/16 inch
  • Hole spacing is 25.0 mm and 1 inch
  • Base magnet provides adsorption force

The LBTEK Magnetic Beam Height Rulers MHG-150 and MHG-300 have maximum measurement heights of 155 mm and 305 mm respectively. The front side is engraved with scale divisions of 1.0 mm and 1/16 inch for beam height measurement. Adjacent to the scales are columns of Ø2.0 mm holes with spacing of 25.0 mm and 1 inch respectively, allowing for quick adjustment of optical path height. Each ruler features a magnet at the bottom for attachment to optical table surfaces. The entire surface undergoes shot-peened black anodization treatment, which can be used to block stray beams and create a uniform scattering surface.

Magnetic Beam Height Ruler Mounting Base
  • Vertical installation of two magnetic beam height scales
  • Suitable for horizontal and vertical beam measurement
  • UV/IR detection cards can be mounted on the magnetic beam height scale
  • Built-in level for easy horizontal adjustment
  • Laser engraved scale with 1.0 mm graduations
The LBTEK MHG-B mounting bracket allows two magnetic beam height gauges to be installed at a 90° angle. This enables both laser level adjustment and measurement of the beam height on the platform. The bracket is constructed from durable black POM and features a built-in bubble level to assist in observing the level status of the mounted components. When the bubble is centered between the two markings, the bracket is level (note: the level is glued to the bracket with linear contact—avoid applying force to the level during use). Three sides of the bracket are engraved with 1.0 mm graduated laser markings, which can be used to indicate the horizontal displacement of the installed components. As shown in the right figure, the top of the bracket has a through slot designed to match the magnetic beam height gauge. Once assembled, the bracket can slide vertically along the height gauge. A second magnetic beam height gauge or inspection card can then be placed in the space between the first gauge and the front of the bracket. All components are secured using hand-tightened screws.
Use the MHG-B mounting bracket to install the MHG-150 at a 90° angle onto the MHG-300.

Magnetic beam height rulers, can be mounted to a breadboard
  • Scale line spacing is 1.0 mm and 1/16 inch
  • Compatible with optical platforms and breadboards
  • Base magnet provides adsorption force

The LBTEK Magnetic Beam Height Ruler MHG-130P has a maximum measuring height of 135 mm, with 1.0 mm and 1/16-inch graduation scales engraved on both sides for beam height measurement. Next to the metric and imperial scales and along the centerline, there are columns of Ø1.0 mm, Ø2.0 mm, and Ø2.0 mm round holes with spacings of 5.0 mm, 1/4 inch, and 10.0 mm respectively, for quick adjustment of optical path height and laser beam alignment. Each ruler features a magnet at the bottom for attachment to optical table surfaces, along with a pair of Ø5.0 mm locating pins that can be inserted into optical tables or breadboards with 25.0 mm hole spacing.
