Product Description
  • Application: Eliminating the spatial inhomogeneity of the beam and improving the quality of the beam
  • Working wavelength: 400 nm-2000 nm
  • Mounted engineered diffusers are compatible with 30 mm coaxial systems.
LBTEK's engineered diffusers utilize photolithographic techniques to deposit regularly shaped, independently controlled microstructures onto polymer surfaces. These diffusers allow a wide range of wavelengths to pass through, allowing them to modify the incident beam's intensity distribution, creating a non-Gaussian intensity profile. LBTEK's engineered diffusers are designed for laser beams Ø0.5 mm or larger. Beams smaller than Ø0.5 mm require expansion before diffusion. We offer our engineered diffusers both unmounted and mounted in SM05/SM1/SM2 lens tubes. The mounting tubes are engraved for quick product identification and protect components from fingerprints and other contaminants. Mounted engineered diffusers are compatible with 30 mm coaxial systems. LBTEK also offers custom engineered diffusers in special sizes. Please contact LBTEK Technical Support for inquiries.

Engineered Diffusers, Unmounted
  • Scattering angle: 5°, 10° and 20° optional
  • Altering beam intensity distribution
  • Transmission efficiency >90%

LBTEK offers engineered diffusers with scattering angles of 5°, 10°, and 20°. Operating over a wide wavelength range of 400 nm to 2000 nm, they can modify the incident beam intensity distribution, providing a non-Gaussian intensity distribution. Transmission efficiency exceeds 90%, resulting in a high damage threshold. LBTEK also offers custom engineered diffusers in specialized sizes. Please contact LBTEK Technical Support for details.
