LBTEK offers a variety of accessories suitable for single-axis and multi-axis fiber optic displacement stages, including fiber optic clamps and magnetic pressure blocks. The fiber optic clamps are used to hold bare fibers or cylindrical objects. The specially treated surfaces and soft clamping material properties preventing them from damaging the fibers, making them ideal clamping tools. The magnetic pressure blocks are used to secure bare fibers held by the FSV1 fiber optic clamp and the OFF32 fiber optic mounting base.
FSV1 Fiber Optic Clamps

In scenarios where fibers are butt-coupled to small waveguide devices, using ordinary fiber clamps makes it difficult to support and position the fiber end close enough to the waveguide input port. The tapered structure at the end of the LBTEK FSV1 fiber clamp allows users to visually inspect the fiber-waveguide interface. The fiber can be secured using the two included FSM1 magnetic pressure blocks, which are also available for separate purchase. Two M3 mounting screws and a wrench are included.

The FSV2 fiber optic clamp provided by LBTEK is used to connect fibers to the FCSS-5 series five-axis stainless steel fiber optic translation stage for alignment. This clamp gently secures the fiber in a precision V-groove, with a lower V-groove that matches the five-axis translation stage. The fiber is locked in place by side screws on the V-groove. Additionally, the lower surface of the clamp features an M4 threaded hole, allowing it to be directly mounted on a post.

The LBTEK Magnetic Briquette is designed to work with the FSV1 fiber clamp, securely holding bare fibers in place on the FSV1 fixture. Its base features soft foam padding to protect bare fibers from damage. It can also be used to replace the magnetic compression block included with the FSV1 or for building custom fiber assembly setups.

The FSV3 fiber optic clamp provided by LBTEK features precision V-grooves and rubber pads, designed to securely grip the buffer layer of optical fibers without causing damage. The magnetic attraction force can be adjusted via an M4 set screw. With an M4 threaded base, the fiber clamp can be connected to Ø12.7 mm optical posts or integrated into optical components on breadboards or optical platforms.

The LBTEK fiber optic holder is perfectly suited for securing single-mode bare fibers (with intact coating) and features simple installation and flexible usage. The fiber is held in place within a precision V-groove by two magnetic clamping blocks. These blocks also incorporate special elastic pads that can locally bend around the fiber, providing stable yet delicate clamping force. The base of the holder is made of anodized aluminum, while the top plate is constructed from magnetic stainless steel.
