Product Description
  • High gain, high sensitivity, high bandwidth, low noise, high common-mode rejection ratio
  • Built-in low-noise isolated power supply
  • Compact structure
  • Fixed gain and adjustable gain options
The LBTEK balanced photodetector module integrates two matched high-linearity analog PIN detectors and low-noise broadband transimpedance amplifiers, featuring high gain, high sensitivity, high bandwidth, low noise, and high common-mode rejection ratio. It can effectively reduce common-mode noise from input light and improve the system's signal-to-noise ratio. The module offers two types of optical input interfaces: FC/APC fiber interface and free-space coupling, with electrical signals output via SMA ports. It is primarily used in applications such as nanosecond optical pulse detection, LiDAR, fiber-optic coherence tomography, and fiber sensing systems. LBTEK provides Si balanced photodetectors with a working wavelength range of 400 nm-1100 nm and InGaAs balanced photodetectors with a working wavelength range of 800 nm-1700 nm. These detectors are available in two modes: fixed gain and adjustable gain (software-controlled). By subtracting the two optical input signals, these balanced photodetectors eliminate common-mode noise, achieving a common-mode rejection ratio of >25 dB. Note: The adjustable-gain balanced photodetector comes with adjustment software and a user manual, which can be downloaded for use.
